Indian Cricket Players Grade List 2023 – Complete Grade List Of Legendary Players

BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket) has finalized the Central Contracts list 2023 for Indian Cricketers. And also, the BCCI group list 2023 was ratified by the BCCI’s apex Council on March 2, 2023. A few senior cricketers including in the grade of list Hardik Pandya, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane, have lost their Grade A status. The BCCI has four different types of central contracts, each with a different value of annual remuneration amount.

At last time, the BCCI had awarded the central group contract to twenty-eight cricketers, but this year, only twenty-seven have been awarded the grade list.

Indian Cricket Players Grade List

The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) issued a Central Grade Contracts list of players on March 2, 2023. Contrary to the contracts provided in the past two years, the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) has made some significant changes to the team members for the 2022-23 season.

As Unexpectedly, former test vice-captains Cheteshwar Pujara & Ajinkya Rahane were downgraded in the latest central contract list by the BCCIs Apex Council.

Indian Cricket Grade List

All the cricketers are classified into three grades according to their performance. Here we have listed the Indian cricket players grade list at different categories.

Indian Cricket Team Grade List

BCCI produces three grade types, and players are divided among its national cricketers under the central contract lists. The highest is Grade A, under which the players are given an annual salary of 7 crores.

The next highest is Grade B, under which players are given an annual salary of 5 crores. The next lowest is Grade C, under which players are given an annual salary of 3 crores.

Other than female cricketers, they also have three different grades. Grade A has 50 lakhs for the player’s performance, the highest level in the past few years. Grade B has 30 Lakhs, and Grade C has 10 Lakhs received.

Indian Cricket Grade A B C Players

The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) excluded retired players from annual contracts. MS Dhoni, Khaleel Ahmed, Dinesh Karthik, and recently retired Ambati Rayudu is dropped from the Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) annual Contract.

Indian Cricket Grade A Players

In the Indian Cricket player grade list, the highest grade in the Indian Cricket central contracts. Players in this grade regularly are the ones who have performed well in the past year.

In Grade A is captain or Vice-captain. In the 2022-23 contract, only these players have been involved in the Indian Cricket player grade list. Grade A as follows.

Indian Cricket Grade B Players

In the Indian Crickets players Grade list, depending on performance and salary, the annual salary of INR 3 crores for Grade B players. Seven players are involved in this grade for the 2022-23 season. 

These involve consistent players in the national team, but their performance has been below par in the Indian Cricket players grade list in the last few months.

Indian Cricket Grade C Players

In the Indian Cricket players Grade list, depending on performance and salary, players in Grade C regularly are not consistent in the national team. Still, they are retained in the central contract for one year.

These involve inconsistent players in the retained team, but their performance has been below part of the Indian cricket players grade list of the Grade B players.

BCCI Women’s Central Contracts

In the women’s central contracts, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Poonam Yadav have been joined by the likes of Deepti Sharma and left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad in the Grade of different types in INR 50, 30, and 20 Lakhs.

The Veteran players Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj have retained their grade slots. In contrast, batter Jemimah Rodrigues, who was handed a selection snub for India’s imminent World Cup Campaign, has been dropped Players to the different grade types.
